Classes are open to students over 18 years of age. We train both men and women in our weekly classes, also offering classes specifically aimed at Self Defence for Women.

Classes are run in a structured format with a focus on challenging students while maintaining student safety.
This is achieved by ensuring students are correctly ‘warmed-up’ then individually trained in techniques appropriate to their training level.
Techniques are based on a grading syllabus that is utilised for all Sakura Kan Jiu Jitsu dojos which reflect the combat nature of the art.
With the combination of throwing, grappling, and self-defence techniques practiced, students are able to have a good workout while being challenged to develop their self-defence skills.
